Balancing
Spoons are weighed to 0.01g resolution and the best spoon mounting sequence is selected from a billion randomly computed spoon ordering sequences. Welding tends to move metal around and reduce the effectiveness of this balancing approach. |

Welding
Turgo spoons are TIG welded to each other and to the center hub plate.This is a more secure mounting than the standard bolted design. However, spoons are not easily replaceable and welding tends to move metal around and reduce the effectiveness of the computed balancing method. Welding is recommended for higher power applications. |

Polishing
Turgo spoons are professionally polished by hand to a mirror like finish. This improves the appearance and efficiency of the runner but is very labor intensive. $25/spoon for orange and x0.75 size spoons, $50/spoon for x1.5 spoons, and $100/spoon for x2 spoons. |

| Turgo and Pelton Arbors |
| $15 | Basic arbor to fit motor/generator shaft and mount 1/2" ID impulse runner. Shaft sizes 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 5/8" with keyway. Will also fit ES&D pelton. Specify RH or LH thread. Use LH thread with turgo spoons above to direct water away from generator. Pelton may use either. All arbors, basic or custom, are plated steel. Unfortunately stainless steel arbors are not available. Stainless shaft couplings may be available at a higher cost. Check for availability. |
| $30 | Custom arbor to fit 7/8", 28mm or 1-1/8" keyed shaft (shaft coupling required), or threaded to fit most Ford or GM alternators. Specify RH or LH thread for arbor shaft (1/2-20RH or 1/2-20LH). |
